(nee Pellerin) Passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Gerald McTiernan and daughter of Vital and Mary Bell Pettipas of Larry's River, NS. Loving and devoted mother of Margaret (Bellisle) of Orleans, ON, Thomas of New Glasgow, NS; grandchildren Michael of Orleans, Sean and Jillian of New Glasgow. Survived by her sister Cecilia of Halifax. Predeceased by her sisters Clara, Lena, Jeanette and Louise. Her brothers Joseph, Eugene, Jerome and Gerald. A Memorial Service will be held at Racine Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home and Chapel, 180 Montreal Road, on Saturday, July 27, 2002, at 2 p.m. Interment of ashes will be held at the Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Nova Scotia. Special thanks to the nursing staff on the 2nd and 5th floors of the Island Lodge Long Term Care Centre for their care and compassion. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
