In Montreal on Wednesday, July 24, 2002. Beloved husband of 62 years of Jean Schecter. Loving father and father-in-law of Arlene and Seymour Isenberg and Laurie and Jerry Mariasine. Proud and cherished Zaidie of Jeff, Lisa and David (Leith), Steven and Michael. Great-grandfather of Sydney Allison. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Lou and the late Lorna Toulch, the late Annie and the late Abie Sinsofsky. He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon Street West, Montreal on Sunday, July 28th at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the Russian Polish Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his daughter's residence in Montreal. In lieu of gifts or flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Jewish Eldercare Centre.
