Judith Kathleen PIRIE

(nee Pirie) Peacefully in hospital, Arnprior, Ontario on Wednesday July 24, 2002 after a brief illness in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Melvin Wickens, formerly of Stark's Corners, Quebec. Dear mother of Dorval (Elda) Ottawa, Ontario; Hawley (Jeannine), Shawville, Quebec; Genevieve (Clifford Firobin), Ottawa; Carolyn (late Bill Campbell), Brockville, Ontario; Dianne (Cliff French); Elaine (Mike Finlan); Harriet, all of Ottawa; Linda (Terry Welch), Orleans, Ontario; Connie (Glen Danis); Kathy (Ray Rivard), both of Perth, Ontario; Darwin (Holly), Shawville and Dorothy (Allan Whitelock), Arnprior. She was the dear sister of Wavenie, Ottawa, and Leslie, Galetta, Ontario. Predeceased by son Mervin and her parents Ruby and John Pirie, and sisters Doris, Rosemary, Pam, Gladys, Gwen and brothers Hawley, Ervin, Andrew, Jack and Gordon. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren and predeceased by 2 grandchildren Rodney and Melissa French. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the W.J. Hayes & Sons Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Thursday, July 25, 2002 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 11:30 a.m. to time of service.
