With deep sadness the family announces the passing of Sheldon (Pic) Ross at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre on Thursday, July 25, 2002, at the age of 97. Mr. Ross is survived by his beloved wife, Lois Burgess, daughter Sheldon Munro, and son Robert (Donna Fowler). Also mourning his loss are six grandchildren, Carrie Munro (Andrew Millar), Susan Munro (Trevor Davidson), Wendy Munro, Robert Ross (Pauline Tasse), Lynn Ross and Danelle Ross (Marc Ethier). Six great-granddaughters also will miss their beloved Poppy Grampie Ross. Predeceased by his first wife Muriel (Berlie) MacDonald, his brothers Graham, Jim and Alan and his sisters Marion and Carol. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road, on Sunday, July 28, 2002, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 10 a.m. Monday, July 29th. The family extends a very special thanks to the staff at the Elisabeth Bruyere Palliative Care Unit and to the Family Medicine Centre at the Civic Hospital.
