Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at The Hospice at May Court on Friday, July 26, 2002, in his 75th year. Predeceased by his first wife Giselle Chalifoux. Survived by his loving wife and best friend Carole (nee Knowles). Loving father of Michelle (Pierre Jouan), Dennis (Janice), Robert, Richard (Francine), and Carl. Step-father to Dave (Heather), Karen (Archie), Kate (Bob), and Jacquie (Allan). Brother of Rollande (Mel), Julie, Rheal (Rachel), Mary (Lionel), Carmen (Claude), Maurice (Micheline), Helene (Gil), Andre (Suzanne) and Jean-Paul (Joy). Much loved grandfather of Tracey-Anne, Nicole, Brad, Kyle, Matthew, Kristen, Megan, Ashleigh, Dana and Seth. Special brother-in-law of Lois Lepage. Predeceased by sisters Rita and Frances and brother Noel. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Monday, July 29, 2002 after 2:30 p.m. A Celebration of Gerry's life will be held in the Chapel at 3:30 p.m. Reception to follow at the McGarry Family Reception Centre.
