Passed away peacefully in hospital on Friday, July 26, 2002 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of the late Mary Eileen (Conlon). Loving father of Kevin, Maureen (Ed O'Callaghan), Barry (Lorraine Murray), Sheila (John Bennett) and Brian (Laura Vickers). Cherished grandfather of Luke, Aoife, Emma, Dylan, Megan, Hugh, Alan, Hannah, Aidan, Jacob and Liam. Dearest brother-in-law of Sr. Mary Conlon and Sr. Florence Conlon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the many friends and staff at The Palisades Residence. Many thanks to Dr. Duchenes and the staff of the Montfort Hospital for their kind and constant care. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent Street on Tuesday, July 30, 2002 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Theresa's Church (Somerset & Cartier St.).
