Chateau Laurier Hotel Algonquin College Canadian Federation of Chefs With deep sadness, the family announces the passing of John at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus, Saturday, July 27 at the age of 84. John is the son of the late Lucinda Richer and Pasquale Medaglia. Beloved husband of Rose Domenico. Loving father of Marlene Medaglia (Ed Gurgurewicz), Lynda (Andre Beaudry), John (Helen) and Don (Diane). Dear grumpy of Keri, Kelly, Tracy and Jeff. Loving brother of Rose Faucher, Theresa Raymond, Mary Lee, Viola Medaglia, Amelia (Leo Bisson), Joe (Marg), Oliver (Carol), Fred (Nancy) and Bill. Will be lovingly remembered by sisters-in-law Reggie and Doreen and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Tony, Louie, by sister Antonia Rhody and brother-in-law Bill Rhody. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset Street, (Centretown) Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Donations to the Ottawa West Community Support or a charity of choice appreciated.
