Peacefully Tuesday July 30, 2002, Joan Blakney age 70 years. Beloved wife of Vernon Veinot. Loving mother of Mike (Jane) and Gary (Mardi). Devoted grandmother of Meaghan, Christopher, Kate and Jocelyn. Dear sister of Lawrence, Max, Robert and Shirley Reid. She is predeceased by her sister Helen Drinkle. Family and friends may assemble Friday in the Chapel of the Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, for a Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. Donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre Foundation appreciated.
