After a long illness, he found peace July 31, 2002. Born in Grodek, Poland May 28, 1923. Much loved and will be greatly missed by his wife Ileana, daughters Anna, Susi and Sylvia (Barre) and grandchildren Hannah, Camilla and Jeremy Gruda. Predeceased by his first wife Barbara. Joined the Polish Division of the British Army in 1942; served in the Middle East and wounded in Monte Cassino, Italy. Had a distinguished career in the Federal Public Service. Thank you to all the care givers, especially Vieswa. Friends may attend a Funeral Service at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod St, on Saturday, August 3, 2002 at 2 p.m. Interment Beechwood Cemetery.
