"Owner - Bill's Joke Shop" Died peacefully on Thursday, August 1, 2002 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Violet. Dear father of Brian (Sandra), Mark of Vancouver, and Jonathan (Helene). Loving grandfather of Paula, Joshua, Chana, Nina, Rachel and Rivka. Dear brother of Jeannette Berlin. Predeceased by Dinah, Sidney and Leo Abrams. Special thanks to the Geriatric Assessment Unit and the Acute Monitoring Area Unit at the Civic Campus, the second floor staff at Hillel Lodge and also to Iga Wieczorek and to Tschay Tesfahun. A Graveside Service was held on Sunday, August 4, 2002 at the Jewish Community Cemetery, Bank Street. Funeral arrangements in care of the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry.
