(nee Elson) Passed away peacefully at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria, ON on Friday, August 2, 2002 at the age of 82 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late Charles James Newman, formerly of Verdun, Quebec. Loving mother of Gary Newman (Barbara Burton Graham) of Glen Robertson, ON and Gail Ann McCallum (Pat) of Milton, ON. Gandmother of Sean, Samantha and Stacey and great-grandmother o Kayla. Special mom to Bob Newman (Linda) and Phil Woodward (Mary). Family will be in attendance at the Morris and Munro Funeral Home, 114 Main Street, Alexandria, ON on Sunday August 4, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday, August 5th from 10 a.m. to the time of the funeral in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in Mount Royal Cemetery on Tuesday, August 6, 2002.
