Peacefully in her sleep at St. Vincent's Hospital, Ottawa on Friday August 2, 2002, Anna Okopna in her 91st year. The heart and soul of her family, Mom leaves a deep void in the hearts of her daughters Maria and Helen (Tom) Gordon, both of Ottawa. Predeceased by her husband Peter (1992) and her daughter Irene (1982). Extremely proud "Nanny" of grandchildren Peter and Lena. Friends may call at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. and after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior, on Tuesday morning, August 6, at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Malloch Road Cemetery. A time of fellowship and refreshment will be held in the Church Meeting Room. In remembrance, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
