In Ottawa on Wednesday, August 7, 2002, at 70 years of age. Dear husband by first marriage to the late Merle Brenot. Survived by his dear wife, Denise Lafontaine. Beloved father of Richard Brian (Janet Simser); stepfather of Luc Charbonneau (Martine Paradis) and Carole (Ray Wheatley). Fond grandfather of Simon, Maxime and Camille Charbonneau and Alain and Elise Wheatley. Also survived by his sister, Constance Kalio. Predeceased by his sister Evelyn and his brother Richard. At his request, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, August 12, at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, Vanier, at 10:30 a.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
