Peacefully, surrounded by his family, in Toronto, on Thursday August 8, 2002, Jack Errett in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of 58 years to Audrey Firth. Loving father of Rodney, Cheryl (Neil), Lee (Doreen), Lynn, Gary (Sandy) and Val (Bill). Cherished grandfather of 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Dear brother of Alice Plummer, Olive Legari, and the late Helen, Ronald, George and Joan Errett. Jack will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home in Smiths Falls on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday August 13, at 2:30 p.m. In memory of Jack, donations to the Terrence Donnelly Heart Centre, c/o St. Michael's Hospital, 30 Bond St., Toronto, ON, (where Jack spent the last five weeks of his life under the excellent care of the many excellent doctors and nurses including his devoted son Lee) would be appreciated.
