G. Alvan GAMBLE

Member, Order of Canada; Fellow, American Public Health Assn. Passed away at St. Vincent Hospital on Monday, August 12, 2002 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Jean. Loving father of Stephen, Lois and the late Timothy. Brother of J. Clifford (Toronto). At the request of the deceased a private family interment took place at Clarence Cemetery, Clarence, Ontario. Friends are invited to attend a reception in Alvan's honour at the Hulse, Playfair & McGarry Reception Centre, 328 McLeod Street, on Thursday, August 15, from 6-9 p.m. A Memorial Service worshipping the Lord he loved, will be held at Bromley Road Baptist Church, 1900 Lauder Dr., Ottawa, on Saturday, August 17, 2002 at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends in the Congregation Hall immediately following the Service. Anyone of his three close interests will gratefully acknowledge memorial gifts.
