Edward HAMILTON

September 20, 1922 - August 14, 2002 On August 14, 2002, our beloved father, Edward (Ted) Grand of Edmonton, passed away quietly at the age of 79. Dad is survived by his sons, Gordon (Kathy) Grand of Calgary, Edward Grand; daughters, Debbie Duffy (Rob Fenton), Andrea Nastiuk (Ken Newstead), Karen (Barth) Bradley, all of Edmonton and JoAnn Grand-Pooley (Bob Pooley) of Spruce Grove, 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way! He was predeceased by his wife Norma and son Gary. A pilot trainer in WWII, Dad spent his younger years in Ottawa. His work in sales moved him west with his wife and six children. He always reminded his family that this was the best decision of his life. Most of all, Dad was a proud parent who loved and enjoyed time spent with his family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2002, at 2:00 p.m., at Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton. Cremation has taken place. We would like to express our thanks to the nurses and doctors in Emergency, Unit 54 and especially the ICU Department at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, as well as the staff at the Choice Program at Dickinsfield Extended Care Center.
