Jacques Thomas PILON

(RCAF, 425 Squadron, WW II Veteran Ret'd. C.P. Rail) Surrounded by his family at Gatineau Hospital on Sunday, August 18, 2002 at age 82. Beloved husband of Ita (Legault) and former husband of the late Bernadette (Kenney). Son of Simeon and Leda (Fortier) Pilon. Loving father of Pauline (Edward McColgan), Roger (Anne Wallis), Jacqueline, and Paul (Leslie Briand). Dear brother of the late Monseigneur Rolland Pilon, Paul (Leona), the late Robert, Laurette Romain-Spencer, Marc, Pierre (Edith) and Marie (George Campbell). Loving grandfather of Paula, Kim, Sheri, Matthew, Stephanie, Sarah, Leigh, Courtney, Lyndsay and Evan and great-grandfather of Emily. He was very active in the community and was one of the founders of the Royal Canadian Legion - Quyon Branch 231 and the Lions Club. He worked to establish a hospital in Gatineau. He will be greatly missed by family and friends as well as his beloved dog Pepe. Friends may visit on Wednesday, August 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Cooperative funeraire de l'Outaouais, 1369 boul. La Verendrye O. Gatineau. Funeral Mass will be on Friday at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Waltham, Quebec.
