Gordon Pirie BOURNE

(Veteran of W.W.II, Gordon spent most of his career with the Federal Civil Service in Ottawa as a statistician - economist; a member of the British Society of Commerce; and an active member of O.D.X.A. and Quanta). In hospital, Pembroke on Monday, August 19, 2002 at the age of 90 years. Gordon Bourne of 1111 Pembroke St. West, Pembroke, dearly loved husband of Muriel Bourne (nee Buttars). Dear father of William L. Bourne, Nelson, B.C.; and Nancy E. Higgins (husband Randy), Sacramento, California. Son of the late George and Johan Bourne, England. Brother of Joyce McDonald (husband late John), Newport News, Virginia. A Memorial Service will be held in Calvin United Church, Pembroke, followed by a time of fellowship in the church hall on Thursday August 22nd at 2 p.m. Interment of ashes in the Calvin United Cemetery.
