Peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital surrounded by his family on Wednesday, August 21, 2002 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Bess Levinson and predeceased by his first wife Ida Cohen. Loving father of Shirleyann Gossack, Barry (Laureanne), the late Ernest (Carol Lee Bellam), Arlene (Roland Greenberg) and Leonard (Candice Bellam). Cherished Zaidie of Howard, Michael (Jennifer), David, Mitchel, Jason, Samantha, Danny (Janette), Deborah (David), Evan, Jamie, Dale and Terry. Great-grandfather of Jacob, Nikolas, Sydney Greer. A Funeral Service will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, 1771 Cuba Ave. on Thursday, August 22, 2002 at 3 p.m. Interment Jewish Community Cemetery, Bank Street, Ottawa. Shiva to be observed at 43H Waterbridge Dr., Nepean. In Memorium donations to the Parkinson's Society or Hillel Lodge would be appreciated.
