Peacefully at Almonte Country Haven, Almonte, Ontario on Saturday, August 24, 2002. Lillian Giles in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Earl Sweeney. Dear mother of the late Muriel Fisher (Glenn), Ervin (Anne), Clarence, Bryon (Glenda), Donna Lowry (Allan) and predeceased by an infant son. "Gramma" of Brenda Lawton (Andy), Ron Fisher (Kelly), John Sweeney (Leigh), Kevin Sweeney (Darlene), Charlotte Francis (Kevin), Janet Burnside (Darrin), Brennan Sweeney, Quintan Sweeney, Christa Lowry, Julie Lowry, Brad Lowry, Leanna Lowry and 14 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Lloyd, Orville, Milton, Ressford and Leslie and sisters Edna Code and Dorothy Spinks. Friends may call at the C.R. Gamble Funeral Home & Chapel 127 Church Street, Almonte on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Interment Hopetown Cemetery.
