Q.C. (May 15 1921) Veteran - RCAF - WWII Wartime Fighter Pilots Association It is with great sadness that the family of Howard H. Miller announce his passing on August 25, 2002, after a courageous and valiant battle with illness. Howard will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Lois Ellen (nee McCarron). Predeceased by his former wife Irene Miller (nee Hancock). Cherished and loving father of Lorena Reznik (John), Katharine Serson (Scott) and Wendy McGuire (Michael). Dear brother of David Miller and the late Alison Grossman. Loving grandfather of Sarah, Joel, Matthew, Alison and Andrew. In his youth Howard served overseas as a Spitfire pilot and became Warrant Officer II. He returned to Canada to obtain his law degree at Trinity College. He had a successful law practice in Westboro for many years. His vitality, sense of humour, keen intellect and wit will be sorely missed. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Wednesday, August 28th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, August 29th at 11 a.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery. Donations to the Scott Mission in Toronto or to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family The Ottawa Citizen, 27-08-2002
