Passed away peacefully at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre, Sunday, September 1, 2002. Theresa Pappas, age 73, born in Ottawa, Ontario. Predeceased by parents Alice and Alfred Lafleur, sister Simone (George) and brothers Alex (Connie), Lucien - Aggie, and Eugene. Survived by brother Richard (Joan). Also survived by husband Nicholas. Dear and loving mother of sons Peter and Steven (Joanne). Her great love of life, laughter, family and friends, will be missed by all whose heart she touched. Our sincere thanks to staff at the Palliative Care and Geriatric Rehab areas of Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital, Dr. Young at the General Hospital Cancer Centre, and Jackie Brown, who provided Theresa with great support through her journey. Following Theresa's wishes, cremation will take place without services. In remembrance, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. The Ottawa Citizen, 04-09-2002
