Age 84, Brampton, Ontario, formerly of Ottawa, passed away September 1, 2002 at Georgetown, Ontario hospital. Born at Pugwash Junction, Nova Scotia. Daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (MacFarlane) MacPherson of Lunenburg. Jean attended Mount Allison University and was employed as a dietitian at Central Mortgage and Housing in Ottawa for twenty-five years. She is survived by her daughter Ruth Zinck and partner Dr. Janis Lusis of Brampton, Ontario; sisters Evelyn (Lawrence) Crouse; Grace (J. James) Kinley of Lunenburg; sister-in-law Lee (Cecil) MacPherson, Halifax; Katherine (Art) MacPherson, Mississauga, Ontario. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond; three brothers Jack, Cecil and Art; sisters-in-law Muriel and Eileen. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Ontario. The funeral was held in Brampton on Friday, September 6, 2002 at Scott Funeral Home.
