(nee Holmes) Peacefully on Monday, September 2, 2002, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Fred A. Hodges of 60 years. Loving mother of Walter (Marlene), Dorothea McMillan (John), James, Harold, Gordon, Carl (Sue), David (Karen), Linda Sills (Michael) and Marion Clark. Dear grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late James Ernest and Flossie Holmes of Vankleek Hill. Sister of Bessie Lewis (Rolly), Wallace Holmes (Hazel), Hiram Holmes, Tommy Holmes, Pearl Bowen (Stirling), Grace Linton (the late Richard), the late May Kirkland, the late Buelah Holmes and the late Walter Holmes. The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St-Joseph Blvd., Orleans, on Thursday, September 5th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church, Cumberland, on Friday, September 6, 2002 at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Dales Cemetery, Cumberland.
