Peacefully at The Grove Nursing Home, Arnprior on Thursday afternoon, September 5, 2002. Leslie McTiernan; formerly of Cedar Hill at the age of 70 years. Dear son of the late Douglas McTiernan and the late Ethel Wall. Brother of Delbert McTiernan (Collette) of Bryson, P.Q., Bruce McTiernan (Faye) of Val Caron, Ontario, William Elliott (Joan) of Ottawa, Jean McLaughlin (Desmond) of Pembroke and Ethel Hodgins (Neil) of Fort McMurray, Alberta. Predeceased by brothers Osborne, Robert, Jackie and Ronald. Les is survived by many nieces and nephews. He will always hold a special place in the hearts of the staff at The Grove. Friends may attend the funeral service which will be conducted in the chapel of The Grove Nursing Home, 275 Ida Street North, Arnprior on Monday morning, September 9th at 11 o'clock. Rev. Bruce Ferguson to officiate. Interment will follow at St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery, Pakenham.
