(Retired Lt. Colonel & WWII Veteran) Tuesday, September 10, 2002. Beloved husband of June. Loving father of Mike (Karen) and Bruce. Cherished grandfather of Genevieve, Matthew, Rebecca and Khadija. Dear brother-in-law of Bruce Northey (Caroline) and their children Philipa and Nicholas. He served overseas with the Armed Forces in WWII; with the 30th Field and Princess Louise Dragoon Guards; and was involved for several years in the training of many Army Cadets in Ottawa. He was employed in the film industry with the N.F.B. and Crawley Films and prior to retirement, with the Federal Government. Friends may pay respects at St. Richards Church, 8 Withrow Avenue Friday after 10 a.m. A Service in Memory of Hal will be held there at 11 a.m. Donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre Foundation appreciated.
