Peacefully in hospital, Perth on Tuesday, September 10, 2002, Wilhelmine S. (Barrie) Duncan (life member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 244, Perth), at the age of 80 years. Wife of the late Carl John Duncan. Dear mother of Noreen (Bernard) Gordon of Bowmanville, Beverley (Leonard) Box of McDonalds Corners, Bonnie (Orville) McGonegal of Balderson, Susan (Dwain) Closs of Mcdonalds Corners and the late Robert Duncan. Wilhelmine was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Clarence (Helen) Barrie of Perth, Jim (Reta) Barrie and John (the late Pat) Barrie of Winnipeg, Bill (Marg) Barrie of Ottawa, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth, Wednesday, September 11th from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Columbkill Church, McDonalds Corners, Thursday at 2 p.m., Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery followed by a reception for family and friends at the Branch 244, Royal Canadian Legion, Perth at approximately 4 p.m. In remembrance, contributions to the Diabetic Society or the Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated.
