In hospital on September 10, 2002, Beatrice (Thompson) of Metcalfe in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late James Thomas. Dear mother of Gordon of White Lake, Margaret Clarmo of Edwards, Muriel (Glen Froats), Elburn (Marilyn) all of Ottawa, David (Linda) of Metcalfe, Ronald (Joanne) of Los Angeles, Audrey (Ivan Wallace) of Greely, Sandra (Denzil Reaney) of South Gloucester, Doug (Hilda), Barbara (Joe Racine) all of Greely, Beverly (Debbie) of Kenmore, Bonnie (Brian Evans) of Calgary and the late Orvil and Ellen. Loved by 38 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Dorothy McQuaig, Olive Slack, Alice Turpin and the late William, Everett, Charles, Donald Olin and Arnold Thompson. Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 6971 Bank Street (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral Saturday to Osgoode Baptist and Vernon United Church, Vernon, for Service at 11 a.m. Interment Spring Hill Cemetery.
