Peacefully, in Marianhill Palliative Care Unit on Wednesday, September 11, 2002, in her 69th year. Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Edna May Kennedy, her beloved husband Denis Montgomery and her son Neil. Will be sadly missed by her children: Sharon, Terry (Heather Blaedow), Marianne (Michel Renaud), John, Denis (Anna Bacciaglia), Louis (Jeannine Allard), Kenneth (Gail Graham), Ruth (Keith Jennings), Allan (Kim Chassie), Andrew (Carol LaHaise), Greg (Donna Lemire), Robert and Sean (Chantal St. Cyr). Cherished Nanny to Derek, Duane, Mandace, Sarah, Danny, Amber, Michael, Jason, Justin, Erin, Matthew A., Joshua, Jessica, Jasmine, Zachary, Elise, Christian, Matt, Courtney, Nichlolas, Shane, Ethan, Kiersten, Nicole, Ashley, Lauren, Jordan, Robyn, Sydney, Quintin, Anthony, Trista, Maria, Milaine, Arielle, Jacob and Matteo. Wonderful and special sister to Angus (Marian Tallet), Lucy (the late John Lewis), Dan (the late Barbara Connolly), Vincent (Esther Pedersen), Joe (Jackie Lajoie) and Stasia (Jim Jennings). Dear daughter-in-law to the late Flora (Montgomery) Walsh and sister-in-law to Earl (Clarina Lair), Eddie (Teresa Bowers), Jean Berrigan and Ethel (Wilfred Jones). Will be fondly remembered by more than 150 nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Laliberte and his staff, to the 3rd floor staff of the Pembroke General Hospital, Marianhill Palliative Care Unit and the doctors and staff at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Center. Friends and family may call at the Ringrose Brothers Funeral Home, Chapeau, Quebec on Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m., Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. and Saturday after 12 noon. Funeral Saturday, September 14, to St. Alphonsus Church, Chapeau, Quebec for Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. Interment in parish cemetery.
