(Emi, as she was affectionately called by her late husband), 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2002 in Ottawa at the home of her daughter, Gloria. She was predeceased by her husband, the late Naikeng Pan, and is survived by her five children, their spouses, 14 grandchildren (three of them are married), and one great-grandson. She is the beloved mother of Yunchong, Meiyang (Gloria) Lee, Meitsu (Loretta) Chen, Lichong (Leigh), and Meiling (Mae) Lin; mother-in-law of Hengching (Nee Lin), Falong (Edmond) Lee, Wenlong (Robert) Chen, Lichiang (Carole, nee Chang), and Chinghong (Peter) Lin; grandmother of Nadia (married to Creaner), Nina, Thomas (married to Susan Baek), Andrew Lee, Edward Lee, Benjamin Lee (married to Lynne Rouson), Philip Chen, Serena Chen, Emily Chen, Jennifer, Tania, Jason, Felicia Lin, and Petrina Lin; and great-grandmother of James Creaner. She will be sadly missed by all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandson. Visitation and funeral ceremony will be held at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans.
