Knud LAURSEN

Nov. 6, 1928 - Sept. 19, 2002 It is with sadness, yet gentle relief, that we announce the death of Knud, surrounded by his family, peacefully at home in Knowlton. He was the beloved husband of Beverly Pascoe, the loved dad of Colleen (Marve Gibbs), Ron (Debbie Van Blankers), Diane (Jim Hurcomb) and Brenda (Ed Phillips), and is also survived by his first wife Maureen Laursen. He was the cherished Grandpa of Melissa, Erik and Jessie Laursen, Kelly, Emma and Jamie Hurcomb, Kevin, Paul and Adam Phillips. Knud will also be sadly missed by his step-family, Deborah (Bill Smith), Rod (Sandra Phelan), Dann, Graeme and Marina (Derrick Payne), grandchildren Meagan and Ashley Smith, Greg, Brad and Courtney Rogers. Knud will be fondly remembered by his older brother Svend (Gerda) and many loving nieces and nephews, all in Denmark. Family and friends will be welcomed for a memorial service at the Brome Raquette Club, 584 Knowlton Rd. in Knowlton on Monday, September 23, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Desourdy Wilson Funeral Home, 104 Buzzell, Cowansville, Que.
