Bertram James MARSH

March 28, 1916 - September 23, 2002 Bert Marsh of the Grove Nursing Home and formerly of Pakenham. Passed away in the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital on Monday, September 23, 2002 in his 87th year. Son of the late William Fred Marsh and Martha Reed. Bert worked for the Township of West Carleton. He also drove a taxi for the city of Ottawa for many years. He was custodian for St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery in Pakenham, Ontario and a great helper at the Master Feeds in Pakenham. As a drummer and drum instructor with the Arnprior Lion's Club Bugle and Drums, he was part of many victorious competitions. Bert will be sadly missed by special friends Lois Grainger and her son Percy, as well as David Laventure. Resting at the Boyce Funeral Home, Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre 138 Daniel St. N., Arnprior Where friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, September 25, 2002 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the Boyce Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 26 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Bill Simons officiating. Interment St. Mark's Cemetery in Pakenham. Bert's friends ask that donations be made to the Arnprior Grove Nursing home or St. Mark's Anglican Church in Pakenham.
