Junius Leonard JOHNSON

Of Summerland, BC, passed away on September 26, 2002, in Summerland Extended Care at the age of 89. Born on June 17, 1913, Junius is survived by his loving wife, Idicie (Ida), children Marjorie (Al) Randell of Kentucky, USA, Florence (Peter) Coleridge of Ottawa, ON, Don (Judi) Johnson of Westbank, BC and Ron (Cindy) Johnson of Summerland, BC, three grandchildren; Matthew Coleridge of Toronto, ON, Stephanie Coleridge of Montreal, PQ and Graham Johnson of Westbank, BC, brother Ed Johnson of Castlegar, BC and sisters Elna Lycan of Langley, BC, Esther (Al) Colton of Langley, BC, and Alma Johnson of Sherwood Park, AB. Junius was predeceased by his brothers Palmer, William and Melvin. A Celebration of Junius' life was held on Monday, September 30, 2002, at the United Church in Summerland, BC, with the Reverend Bonnie Burnett officiating. Inurnment in Canyon View Cemetery, Summerland, BC. The family would appreciate donations in Junius' memory to the CNIB.
