Passed away on September 26, 2002 at the age of 78 years. Isabel was born July 17, 1924 in Otter Lake, Quebec to Herman and Mary Jane Mayhew. Isabel married Delbourne Palmer with whom she had six children. Isabel was predeceased by her husband in 1985, her three brothers Gordon, Ross and Norman, and two sisters Gladys and Beaulah. With the passing of her second husband Gerald La Chapelle four years ago, she moved to Red Deer to live with her daughter Linda and Tony Del Caro of Red Deer, Alberta. Isabel will be lovingly remembered by her six children, 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at the Kentwood Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 20 Kovac Street, Red Deer, AB on Saturday, October 5, 2002.
