(nee Dijkstra) Passed away in Ottawa on September 28, 2002, at the age of 83. Loving wife for 59 years of Cornelius Bylsma. She was born on December 1, 1918, in Haskerhorne, Fryslan, the Netherlands. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1950. After first living in the Belleville area, she was a resident of Matilda Township for 44 years, from 1958 to 2002. Mother of Klaas (Patricia), Durk (Anne), Reny (Douglas Hall), Neil (Diane) and Jack (Lina). Grandmother of Rodney (Mary), Trevor (Susan), Mark (Judith), Julie, Clinton, Michael, Craig, Lisa, Erik, Karen and Amanda. Great-grandmother of Heather. Predeceased by her children Grietje and Gerard; her parents, Durk Dijkstra and Grietje Berger; her brothers, Tjebbe, Jacob and Gerrit and their spouses and her sister Akke. She will be remembered by her nieces and nephews and their families in the Netherlands and Canada. Friends may visit at the Marsden & McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Tuesday, October 1st from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service at Community Christian Reformed Church in Dixon's Corners and burial at Union Cemetery in Williamsburg on Wednesday, October 2nd at 11 a.m. Donations to Timothy Christian School, Williamsburg, or Winchester Hospital Renew the Vision Campaign.
