(nee Barnes) On Monday, September 30, 2002, Germaine Guenette at the age of 79. Wife of the late Aurel Guenette. Dear mother of Suzanne Durkin (Patrick) and Joan Charbonneau (Peter). Loving grandmother of Jennifer, Stephanie and Matthew Durkin, Dominique, Marc, Paul and Alex Charbonnneau. Survived by her sister Violet Fletcher. Predeceased by her sisters Emma Bigelow, Victoria Morgan, Elmire Platt and brothers James and Hector Barnes. Friends may call at the Pinecrest Cemetery Visitation Centre (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa) on Wednesday, October 2, 2002 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Basil's Church (940 Rex Ave., Ottawa) on Thursday, October 3, 2002 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.
