Of Carleton Place, passed away suddenly Monday, September 30, 2002 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital at the age of 57 years. Retired from the Canadian Armed Forces after 31 years at the rank of Sergeant, employed with Lockheed Martin Ltd., Kanata at the time of his passing. Rod was a military history buff, member of the Boy Scouts of Canada, Search and Rescue Volunteer with EMO Nova Scotia. He obtained his B.S. Degree in 2000. Rod leaves to mourn his passing by soulmate Darcie, daughter Lorena, son Craig, parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 7, 2002 at the Barrhaven United Church at 3 p.m. The Ottawa Citizen, 05-10-2002
