Peacefully at Pickering, Ontario on Tuesday, October 1, 2002. Sadie Roberts, born in Montreal, Quebec, died at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by her husband Jack Alexander in December, 1995 and brother Gordon Roberts in October, 2001. Loved mother of Bernice Armstrong (Alan), Gail Tays, Jerald Alexander (Elizabeth), Bruce Alexander (MaryLou) and Ronald Alexander. Dear grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Marion of North Hatley, Quebec and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the ALAN R. BARKER FUNERAL HOME 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 11 a.m. with Reverend Blair Corcoran officiating.
