(Formerly of Toronto) at her residence in Cobourg on Thursday, October 3, 2002. Ruth Ellen Mackenzie (nee Hobson) was the beloved wife of the late Robert Edward Mackenzie. Dear mother of Patricia Lewis and her husband Paul of Cobourg and Ronald Mackenzie of Ottawa. Grandmother of Robyn and Ryan. Great grandmother of Regan. Sister of Violet Sinclair of Florida, U.S.A., also May Footer and Thomas Hobson, both predeceased. Sister-in-law of Betty and Bill Atkinson of Stroud. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Highland Memory Gardens, Toronto (five blocks north of Finch on Don Mills) on Memory Garden Lane, on Monday, October 7, 2002 at 2 p.m. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Interment Highland Memory Gardens, Toronto. If desired, memorial donations by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
