In hospital, Smiths Falls on Friday October 4, 2002, after a courageous battle with cancer. Charles Harvey Boyd in his 75th year, son of the late Walter and Eva Boyd (Baker). Beloved husband of Anna Maxwell. Loving father of David (Margaret Ann) and Debbie of Merrickville. Cherished grandfather of Darryl, Kristen, Adam, Matthew and Lindsay. Dear brother of Harry (Orma) of Brampton and predeceased by a sister Bernice. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. By request of the family there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls, on Monday October 7, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. Interment Union Cemetery, following cremation.
