Peacefully, Monday, October 7, 2002, in hospital after a short battle with cancer. Johan Kristian Kristensen, age 74. He was the son of the late Jens Anders and Regina (Socata) Kristensen. Beloved husband of 46 years of Lisa. Loving father of Paul (Nedra) of Waterloo, Peter (Margaret) of Toronto, Anne (Glen Waters) of Ottawa, Eric (Leona) of Courtice, and Stephen (Dawn) of Pickering. Cherished grandfather of Amanda and Andrew Kristensen, Lesley Wiseman (David and their son Liam) and Kirsti Gallagher, Jacob Waters, David and Spenser Kristensen and Emma Kristensen. Dear brother of Johanne, Dorthe, Jens (Ellen), Helga (Kai), Elly (Marius), Keld, Kristian (Bodil), and Erik (Birgit). Predeceased by brother Anders Peter and sisters Kathrine, Anna, Edith and Else. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 580 Eagleson Road, Kanata, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Thursday in the chapel at 1 p.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Salvation Army appreciated.
