With his family by his side Morley passed away in hospital at Carleton Place, Ontario on Monday October 7, 2002 at the age of 74 years. Cherished husband and best friend of Joan McKim. Dear stepson of Ervie Crawford. Always remembered by his special and only daughter Jane Carnegie (Kevin) of Carleton Place. Cherished "Pop" of Sarah and Blair Carnegie. Survived by his sisters Dorothy McKittrick (late Wally) and Shirley Robillard (Kip), sister-in-law Norma Kennedy (Gerald). Fond uncle of Jimmy McKittrick, Bobby Robillard, Nancy Coreau, Ron Hodgins, Lorilei Clifford, Bonnie Hewitt, Pam Williams, Paul Hodgins, Krista St. Jean, Joey Kennedy, Susan Parent, John Kennedy and their families. Morley will also be sadly missed by his many great-nieces, great-nephews and many wonderful friends. Predeceased by his parents Gladys and Thomas Whalen, sister Marlene Hodgins, mother-in-law Vi Crawford and brother-in-law Allan Hodgins. Friends may call at the ALAN R. BARKER FUNERAL HOME 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Funeral service to be held in St. James Anglican Church on Saturday at 2 p.m. with Reverend David Mullin officiating. Interment St. James Parish Cemetery. Donations to the Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital Foundation or St. James Parish Cemetery would be appreciated by the family. Royal Canadian Legion #192, will honour Morley Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
