Passed away peacefully battling cancer at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital, on Sunday October 13, 2002, George Reid in his 47th year. Dear son of Shirley and the late Nelson Reid. Beloved husband of Debbie Reid of Renfrew. Loving father of Natalie Leuders of Renfrew. Dear brother of Dorothy Marilyn Reid (Dallas Winkle) of Ann Arbour, Michigan. Cherished poppa of Olivia. Sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at the McPhail & Perkins Funeral Home, 85 Munro Ave. at Lorne, Renfrew, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Funeral service will be conducted at the Trinity St. Andrews United Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment Admaston Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or CHEO Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged. The Ottawa Citizen, 13-10-2002
