Died peacefully at Belleville General Hospital on Monday October 14, 2002. Marjorie Frances Henderson was born on February 6, 1919 in Souffville, Ontario, the daughter of the late Harvey Henderson and Alfreta Sargeant. In September 1939 she became the beloved wife of the late Jack Hurlburt of Owen Sound. She was the loving and devoted mother of June (Harvey) Bourdeau of Trenton. John (Josie) Hurlbut of Toronto and Wendy (Larry) Smith of Ottawa, and the proud grandmother and great-grandmother of Tamra (Paul), Kiersten, Brian and Jessica Allore of Bowmanville; Catherine (Paul), Rebeccah and Kevin Moran of Guelph; Sarah and Jaime Smith of Ottawa; and Roby (Heather and Jacob) Hurlbut, Joy (David), Jacob and Jade Benjamin, all of Ottawa. Also mourning her loss is her sister Elinor (Ken) Croft of St. Catharines; and brother Ross (Ethel) Henderson, aunt Jean Danard, Jack's sister Dorothy (Len) Potter, all of Owen Sound; and many nieces and nephews. Marjorie was predeceased by her sisters Dora Baltus, Laverne Honsberger Keller, and brother George Henderson. Friends may call at the John R. Bush Funeral Home 80 Highland Ave., Belleville on Tuesday October 15th from 7-9 p.m. Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Dr. Hal Wilson officiating.
