(62). Surrounded by people who loved him, Michael passed away October 16, 2002. Beloved son of the late Lawrence and Annie Kennedy. Beloved brother of Dorothy (Mrs. Logan Hines) Grand Bahamas; Teresa (Mrs. Bob McGoey) Burlington; Betty Babcock, Kingston, Desmond Kennedy (Joan), North Carolina. Predeceased by sisters Doreen, Eileen and baby brother Raymond. Mike became a founding member of the L'Arche-Ottawa Community when he joined Allelulia House in 1974. Mike will be sadly missed by those whom he loved and those who loved him for all his gifts. Michael deeply touched the lives of many assistants who lived with him at Allelulia and Mountainview. The family would like to express their deep gratitude to all the members of the L'Arche community for their caring and commitment to Mike. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave. at Richmond Rd. on Sunday, October 20, 2002, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church, 940 Rex Avenue, Ottawa on Monday October 21, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. Michael's cemetery in Corkery at 1:30 p.m. As expression of sympathy donations to L'Arche Ottawa, 11 Rossland Ave., Ottawa, Ontario.
