Dr. Armand Much beloved husband, father, brother, and physician. Born October 13, 1919, in Toronto to the late Vincenzo and Angelica (Gentile) Lamberti. Passed peacefully at the age of 83 on October 16, 2002, in Ottawa. He is survived by his loving wife, Dora (nee Fracassi), and his children Dr. Francis (Greenville, NC), James (Seoul, Korea), John Paul (Ottawa) and Anna Maria (Plantagenet, ON); his step-children, Angelina, Angelo, Santina, Tony, and Lella; his loving grandchildren, Sophia Lamberti, Jiho Lamberti, Michael Venables, Elizabeth McIntosh, Zoe McIntosh, Jeremy Camposarcone, Priscilla Camposarcone, Samantha Sigler, Serafino Sigler, Katrina Stubbs, Rick Crego, Natalie Crego, Ashley Crego, and Ava Camposarcone; his brother Dante (Toronto) and his sisters Teresa Walsh (Markham, ON) and Agnes Ruscoe (Ft. Lauderdale, FL). He joins in Christ his recently deceased brothers, Frank (Toronto) and Dr. Joseph (Columbia, MO), his wife Ulrica (Ottawa) and son David (Ottawa). Dr. Lamberti graduated from the University of Toronto School of Medicine in 1945. He completed his Diploma of Public Health and practiced family medicine in Toronto for ten years. He completed his psychiatric specialization at the Menninger Clinic in Topeka, Kansas, and returned to Canada in 1961 to establish a family and child psychiatric practice in Ottawa where he served the community until 1995. He was a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons (Canada), a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a member of the Association of Christian Therapists. He was a graduate of the School of Charismatic Spiritual Directors, Pecos Benedictine Monastery, New Mexico. Dr. Lamberti was an active member of his parish community of St. Basil's. He led a life of service and devotion to his family, his faith, and his patients. His example will be remembered by his loving wife, children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, step-children, family, friends, co-workers, and patients. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2313 Carling Avenue (west of Carlingwood) Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday to St. Basil's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 9:30 a.m. Entombment Capital Memorial Gardens.
