Peacefully in hospital on Wednesday, October 16, 2002, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Moira Livingston. Dear father of David (Judith) and Robert (Julie). Cherished grandfather of Jessica, Adam, James and John. Brother of the late Allan Livingston (Eleanor) and Betty Taxter (David) of Ohio. Doug was a long-time employee of Bell Canada. He was also an avid skier, swimmer and tennis player. Doug was a member of the Rideau Tennis and Squash Club and the Ottawa New Edinburgh Sailing Club for many years. Private family funeral arrangements in care of the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry.
