Peacefully at the Pembroke General Hospital on Wednesday October 16, 2002 with her family at her side. Joan Murphy (nee Kearns) beloved wife of Fred Murphy. Dear mother of Martin Murphy (Hayley), Kathryn Plummer (David), Michael Murphy (Carol) and Reid Murphy (Carrie) all of Pembroke. Loving grandmother of Tresa, Laura, Margaret, Stephanie, Julia, Thomas, Timothy, Andrew, Alex, Natasha, Lana and Edward. Sister of Maureen Kearns and James Kearns both of Ottawa and predeceased by her sister Barbara Aubichon. Daughter of the late Dennis and Catherine (nee Williams) Kearns. Relatives and friends will be received at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke, ON on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning October 19 in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Pembroke at 11 o'clock.
