Retired from John Howard Society and longtime resident of Kingston. Passed away Friday, October 18, 2002 at Kingston General Hospital, with his family at his side. Predeceased by his beloved wife Peggy and deeply mourned by sons Allan and Jim, and daughter Janet. In keeping with Bill's wishes, a private funeral will be held. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Hearing Society or the Canadian National Institute for the Blind would be thoughtfully remembered by Bill's family. The Ottawa Citizen, 23-10-2002
