In hospital after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, October 20, 2002, Elizabeth "Scarlett" (MacDonell) of Kemptville in her 65th year. Wife of the late James Joseph O'Hara. Dear mother of James, Derek, Joady, Tracey and Patricia. Loving grandmother of Dallas, Dakota and Darsey; James and Katrina; Tara, Johnathan, Kristina and April; Sonatina and Dustin. Daughter of Phyllis and the late Malcolm MacDonell. Sister of MaryLou (Mike Kriefalusi) and Ronald (Frances) MacDonell. Cherished friend of Valerie Pranke, Jeff Hicks and Joe Watson. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home, Chapel and Reception Centre, 6971 Bank Street (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Thursday in the Chapel for Service at 1 p.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Friends of Abandoned Pets or to the Addiction Research Foundation would be most appreciated.
